Through this portal, validation can occur in two modes, batch and real time.
Real time mode allows a variety of providers to access patient eligibility and coverage from anywhere via an internet connection. In less than 4 seconds a provider can have full knowledge of preferred information including: co pays, termination dates, deductibles and coinsurances.
Batch mode allows multiple patients to be selected for validation. The selected batch is processed and the preferred information is sent back through a secure PDF email. Batch validation can be used on demand or can be set for personalized frequency checks that run automatically. Multiple patients in a single batch allows for revalidation multiple times per month.
Batch processing allows you to set personalized preferences that will automatically revalidate active patients weekly, semi monthly, on the first of the month or another specified frequency. Communication filters make sure that batch and real-time responses are made available to the correct recipients. Data filters are also available to search for preferred data and specific payers.
With Dorado’s capability to electronically store a provider’s census and validated records, typing becomes obsolete. The electronic storage also makes it possible for users to create and print detailed patient reports.
